That would screw Starmer’s “growth agenda”. The price of his supine attitude to fascist Israel

This has nothing to do with energy security and everything to do with building up Britain’s deadly nuclear weapons programme. The government must reverse this disastrous direction.

There’s no way that Reform will hold together nor remain credible with voters by the time of the 2026 Senedd elections 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

This accounts for the swing from @welsh-labour.bsky.social to @plaidcymru.bsky.social and confirms the correctness of the Party’s strategy. That is, largely ignore @reformuk.bsky.social voters - especially social media - and promote progressive policies to ex-Labour ones
Analysis of electoral trends confirms that swing voters increasingly switch WITHIN 2 blocks (of right/nationalist & of left/liberal) not between them.

=> Labour risks losing voters to LibDems/Greens/nats much more than to the Tories/Reform.

Plaid Cymru MPs rock solid on this issue 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
🚨42 MPs have demanded that David Lammy come clean about evidence UK arms exports to Israel have continued despite Labour's suspensions.

"The public deserves to know the full scale of the UK's complicity in crimes against humanity", they write.

Q. Do you know how we know Israeli is deliberately lying about Gaza? A. They refuse to allow free media access to the occupied territory. QED 🇵🇸

The Senedd election is a year away. Labour is running behind Plaid Cymru and Reform in this poll, with Labour on 18% (half of their 40%/36% in 2021). A 13% Conservative vote is half of their 26% in 2021, with Plaid +10 points to top the poll on 30%
New @ITVWales poll puts Labour in THIRD in Wales, behind Plaid Cymru and Reform UK.

If Labour don’t win next year’s Welsh elections, it’ll be first time they’ve not won an election there since 1922.

Seems ‘we’ are repeating the same major mistake with Reform made over UKIP when they got 12 MEPs in 2004 ( @MichaelLCrick 📕 “One Party After Another - The Disruptive Life of Nigel Farage”, p.152):

A better version of what I say
Amazing too at a time of consolidating oligarchy to argue that an anti-elite stance is the threat to democracy

It takes a massive dose of denial to still pretend that the status quo is what will save us from fascism and authoritarianism

Epistemologies of ignorance etc

Just learned from @Peston that Steve Bannon’s full quote giving advice to Trump was “Flood the zone with sh*t!”
We see that daily with @SkyNews and other UK media reporting him live.
But, frankly, why don’t progressive politicians also do that?
