The reason they wanted the Lakin Riley act so badly is because being undocumented is a civil offense and not an actual crime. They wanted even the ACCUSATION of shoplifting to make them "criminals." I am shocked how many liberals still don't understand immigration laws and are falling for MAGA lies.
