I have 1000s of cat photos on my phone & have just noticed over 1000 of them are of a cat who does not even live with me! Introducing Tilly who lives next door. I have the joy of looking after Tilly a few nights a month & sometimes take my ruffians along to entertain her. #cats

Had an eye test yesterday & optician traumatised me with the news that I need varifocals or reading glasses. Joys of only being 3 years off the big 5-0 Thankfully I had a lovely sales person & I get 100 days to see if I can tolerate them. Anyone experienced varifocals wearers out there with advice?

This is always acceptable and perfectly fine to do. Protect your own sense of peace and engagement that only you can define. Never let anyone tell you you’re wrong for doing that just because *they* want negative attention or to be seen.

For the newbies, one of the great features on here is that when someone has tried to quote-post dunk on you, hit the … and select “detach quote” and nobody will see the post or who wrote it and they will look like an asshole. (Blocking works like this too.)

The best Bluesky version of booking for now is replying to posts with the 📌 emoji! This adds all the posts to a custom, only visible to you feed that you can click on like your other feeds, and access whenever you need. I have found it very useful (if imperfect)
