This is one of those posts which sounds hyperbolic but it simply isn’t. This is the truth. There are ways to be careful but if you are not a citizen- and tbh even if you are- the USA is not a safe place to be now.
Marco Rubio just made the argument, bold faced, not a mistake an intentional statement, that at any time the US can revoke your visa and then you are instantly here illegally and they can arrest you, deport you, torture you, all without any due process.
That means the United States is simply unsafe

I hope that you will join Saturday's demonstration in solidarity with Ukraine outside the Russian embassy.
We need to make it clear that the people of the UK stand with Ukraine.
Then we need to ensure Ukraine gets the support - weapons and frozen Russian money - it needs to defeat Putinism.
