Last night, on the anniversary of the 1989 Velvet Revolution, tens of thousands of Slovak citizens protested in Bratislava Tens of thousands of people against the corrupt pro-Kremlin Prime Minister Fico.

They experienced life under autocracy before, and don't want to return to it!

The Labour government has released to the media more details of its asylum reforms - to be released on Monday.

Their premise: UK attracts asylum seekers because it is too generous + reducing pull factors will change that.

There is a lot of overspinning from this govt

Day 1362 of Ukraine's fight for survival and we are at a strange stage of the war where both sides can be said to be struggling, but neither side winning.

There is no middle ground. You're for democracy and freedom or you accept and therefore encourage mass murder and more wars

Trump has destroyed all credibility in government departments. The latest one: the Justice Department classifying fentanyl as a chemical weapon to justify murdering civilians in small boats.

Russian oil and fuel exports are continuing to fall off a cliff.

Now consider that the Tuapse export terminal went offline last week, and the Novorossiysk export terminal got clobbered last night.

Add in US sanctions this month, and we can expect November to be diastrous.📉🫟

It’s easy to see why Trump wants to destroy the world’s number one news source. We can’t let him.

The BBC belongs to all of us here in the UK.

The Prime Minister and leaders from across the political spectrum should be united in telling Trump to keep his hands off it.

We must also remember the brave Ukrainians who are right now fighting to defend the freedom of Ukraine, and that of all Europe, from dictatorship.
