I've appointed myself my shul's "Goyim Guru" explaining when I was a kid trick-or-treating, if I saw a house with the lights on and they didn't answer the door, I would remember it later on... Please don't give non-Jewish neighbors a reason to think observant Jews are not neighborly. #Halloween

It's been a long day, but it's after midnight and we are still sitting in our sukkah here in Texas waiting, watching and praying for the Israeli hostages to come home.

This all just makes me so angry! Keeping my updated Covid vaccine has kept me from ever getting the disease. Not once. As the recipient of an organ transplant, having people walk around ignoring the disease is dangerous for anyone with a bad immune system. www.nytimes.com/2025/08/27/h...

So sad to hear of the shooting at the Catholic School in Minneapolis. As the wise Mayor Jacob Frey, a longtime advocate for gun control, said, “Don’t just say this is about thoughts and prayers right now, these kids were literally praying...they were in a church.”

I finished watching Long Story Short on Netflix last night and it was the perfect niche show that I never knew I needed so badly. As a baal teshuva, "The Intervention" knocked me out and the finale left me in tears. Just incredible. I highly recommend.

Someone at my mom's synagogue told her that they didn't finish my special because it's too long, which is a tough review coming from someone who just sat through Saturday morning services.

Dear Keira Knightley,
I know you are a humongous movie star now, but please come back for the Bend It Like Beckham sequel. Nowadays, "Everyone Watches Women's Sports."

This is truly an incredible statistic. Did you know that @RenewalNews is responsible for 18% of all altruistic kidney transplants in the US and as high as 70%(!!!) in the New York area.

Please support this important nonprofit!

Calm down, folks, it was just an attempted assassination of a Jewish Democratic governor and his family on the first night of Passover, it’s not like somebody spray painted a dick on a Cybertruck.

Today is #LivingDonorDay and I'd be remiss if I didn't thank my kidney hero Yehuda. I pray more people follow his lead and become donors. How often can someone say they have literally saved someone's life? Contact Renewal to find out how to become a living kidney donor. I can connect you.

My immediate thought was that this episode on its own would make for an incredibly compelling stage play.
All of it is amazing but I can’t remember a piece of television as viscerally intense as episode 3 of Adolescence. Just stop right now and give the Emmys, BAFTAs and everything else to Erin Doherty and Owen Cooper

The second episode of Adolescence was terrifying to watch as a parent of a middle schooler. This article offers a glimpse of what is happening in schools today.

Just finished watching Adolescence with my husband. This was the best bit of TV I've seen in a long time. The one-shots, the acting, the writing, everything about it was brilliant. Even more so as our 13-year-old just got her first phone and we're learning how to navigate parenting a teen.

Incredibly grateful that American Marc Fogel was released by Russia but not understanding those Republicans fawning over this release who protested Brittney Griner's release on the same exact charges. We should do whatever we can to get Americans home.

Public elementary school kids here in Texas will soon be learning that Jesus is the Messiah.

As a proud Jew who can barely afford to keep my kids in Jewish day school, having the fallback of a good public school was a relief. Not anymore.
