Every Trump official is fundamentally a thug
Real insane part of this clip is Hassett saying in the beginning that NY Fed researchers “should be disciplined” for…writing an economics paper that comes to a conclusion the president dislikes? A conclusion that matches the vast majority of economic evidence on tariffs? Nuts
Hassett: "The basic theory of President Trump's tariffs is sure, we're importing stuff from China, but we've got producers in US who make stuff, maybe at alightly higher place. If we bring stuff home, create demand, then that will hurt China & drive up wages & American consumers will be better off."

Right now, we have a tax code that forces firefighters and teachers to pay a higher share of their income than many billionaires and major corporations.

We need to change that - because our economy requires it, and because it is simply the right thing to do.

Corey Lewandowski "fired a U.S. Coast Guard pilot after [Kristi] Noem's blanket was left behind on a plane" — a decision that was reversed when they realized they needed someone to take them home.

People said Noem and Lewandowski "do little to hide their relationship inside the department."

Pam Bondi didn’t show up to serve the public, she showed up to perform for Donald Trump. I break it down in my new essay.

With the midterm elections on the horizon, a Missouri court held a hearing in a lawsuit that could determine whether a gerrymandered congressional map favoring the Republican Party will be in effect for the 2026 race. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...
Is Missouri’s new gerrymandered map in effect? That depends on a court — and the clock
