Things are changing for the worse on Twitter/X so have locked my account down and am moving here. These are difficult times for many trans and/or nonbinary people that I love, and for any families who are supporting their trans kids in the midst of government and media hostility. Sending ❤️

Incontrovertible evidence, now, of *police* investigating families supporting their kids with gender affirming healthcare in the UK. For trying to do the best for your child, following best practice in most of the world, here you get a visit from the police.

Thank you, Wes Streeting.

Good Law Project holds a copy of new NHS Guidance published yesterday and it is clear that Wes Streeting is continuing his war on trans people. Remarkably the national health service is now directing GPs to cause harm to the community. 🧵

What is happening to trans youth right now will be judged in the future as pure evil. Morally repugnant, deeply shameful. Doing the right thing might not be popular with the right wing transphobic media, but their disapproval is a positive. We must be doing something right if they don’t like it!

Families attended a meeting with Wes Streeting recently where he was told of the devastation the ban on puberty blockers caused. An hour where families and young people poured out their pain. Very traumatic. He said ‘I hear you’. He had already decided. I am so angry. Young people deserve better 🤬

Wow. According to this image it looks like nurses - whose real-terms pay has declined by at least 20% since 2010 are responsible for driving up UK borrowing. Thanks for clearing that up BBCNews

This isn't a culture war. This is the only trans congresswoman, ever being bullied through the press and legislation, and having only 1 of hundreds of colleagues stand up for her. They can do more than 1 thing at a time. Defending her will not take so much effort that they can't do their jobs.
Defending Sarah McBride is absolutely the right thing to do, and yet there’s also the risk of being baited into yet another culture war cycle that distracts from the Republican grift. Her statement suggests she wants to move forward, and I think it’s wise to take the cue from her.

5 Republicans and 5 Democrats each voted, and the parties deadlocked. Guess which side voted to cover up the crimes?
