Hey, so. Wild concept. If you work in an office setting, don’t schedule people to meet with you or “find you” during a time when you’re not going to be in your office. The rest of us aren’t your secretaries. Also, if you don’t treat me like a human being, I owe you nothing. ‘K? Thanks.

My family doesn’t decorate, set off fireworks, or attend Independence Day events locally. It’s hard being a blue dot in a red state. We just give ourselves rest on that day and are grateful for that extra time. This year even that respite doesn’t feel peaceful or promising. This feels like an end.
