Last night, the Department of Health and Human Services sent termination letters to employees who were originally fired in April but temporarily reinstated due to a lower court ruling. The Supreme Court cleared the way last week for those firings to proceed.

The Department of Justice firing prosecutors based on politics is never okay. That the prosecutors are apparently being fired for having brought cases against those who participated in an actual insurrection to overturn an election makes it that much worse. This is scary stuff.
