If Mo Chara is being charged for “promoting terrorism”, then when are we going to arrest Elon Musk for giving a Nazi salute? Or do we only care when they’re left-leaning from a working class background?

Brad Pitt being involved in the production of Adolescence is the most arse-backwards piece of information I’ve learned all year.

Later this month, we should be able to announce more details about the 2nd Nico di Angelo / Will Solace book that Mark Oshiro and I have written, just in case you need the promise of some good news to look forward to! Stayed tuned.

A Short Stay in Hell has me in a puddle of gurgling existential dread. Don’t read it before bed. 😰 Five stars! Onto Call Me By Your Name. (I know it’s a big deal I haven’t read it. Fixing that right now. 😵‍💫)

Finished Missing White Woman by Kellye Garrett. Thoroughly bamboozled by all the twists and turns throughout. If you like murder mysteries and thrillers, add it to the top of your list. 100/10 book.

Finished ACOTAR. Maybe it’s just not my cup of tea. Things feel like they happen because the plot needs them to. The 2nd half felt like it was written by someone else. If you plan on reading, please be aware the MC gets SA’d multiple times & it’s played off as romantic, and “her fault”. 2/5

I’m rereading The Great Gatsby, and I’m happy to see that even in 1920s literature, “rich white football player” was synonymous for “huge piece of shit”

Aaand Convenience Store Woman finished! A weird yet easy read, which responds to societal pressure with a simple shoulder shrug. I found Keiko’s apathy for nonsensical social rituals and procedures relatable. Definitely recommend! #books #bookreview

I, Robot was a decent read. I’m not a big sci-fi savant, but I found that its relevance in the current era of AI development grounded it a bit. I’d give it a 3.5/5. Straight into Convenience Store Woman now, which I haven’t put down. Loving it so far! #books #bookreview

Word of the day is ‘librocubicularist’: one who loves nothing better than reading in bed.

(Not easy to say, but I’m glad to know it exists).
