I also appreciated that A Man on the Inside sets up a second season while also avoiding a cliffhanger feel. The season finale is satisfying enough to be a true ending if it has to be. Anyone making a show for Netflix should do that, given how much they cancel shit.

True, but most people knowing Spider-Man is never showing up kills the buzz for these movies before they can get out the gate. It also makes them feel low-rate.
The Sony Spidey Villain Movies "not having Spider-Man" in them isn't that huge knock on the movies for me because you could use that to make them more developed outside of the Spider.
