I originally wanted to do illustration. But I went with graphic design as it was adjacent to art, & a better chance to get a job. I was also told I had no future in illustration. So leaned into design for 20 some years before I got laid off. The art below was the trad ink work I was doing back then.

In tune with aasimar turned cosmic horror, Lug/Joss would work well as a Biblically-accurate angel. When Lug was sent to Toril to aid Qrr’askath (the Netherbrain), his first words to the newborn illithids were "be not afraid." Joss could have a Selunite version of this form too.

As illithid, Lug/Joss considers it a paradox: a largely conditional, performative mask worn to control & meet unrequited needs, & the locus of connection, harmony & grief. Whether wicked or "good," he expresses it via intense devotion, impassioned reverence and gentle affection.
