Identity is not a binary issue
Isn't the second amendment just that - an amendment, therefore not part of the original? That would then imply that the constitution could in fact be amended again. Also on that basis if God is infallible then how come an amendment was required to make sure this "God given right" was enacted?

There is not nor ever should be anything called "Blue Labour"
(I know it exists but it is an anathema therefore can't actually be a thing)

*Feels this in Irish
this has been quote dunked far and wide so I'd like to say that the OP has my axe, talking to strangers when you're out and about in the world is nice and you don't realise what you're losing if you voluntarily shut yourself away from it
Unpopular opinion: I know it's cool to wear your earbuds and carry a book while pasting a disinterested, don't-talk-to-me expression on your face, but I like to talk to the person sitting beside me on airplanes. I liked it when we were willing to be inconvenienced by strangers.

It’s #WorldImmunizationWeek

Vaccines have saved 154 million lives in the last 50 years. That’s 6 lives every minute.

A reminder of what is #HumanlyPossible. Science saves lives.

If you study the recent history of Northern Ireland it is clear that there needs to be an arbiter that stands alone as governments cannot be trusted to not violate the rights of their citizens. (See also USA right now)
Nigel Farage has told ITV News the first thing he would do as prime minister if he won a general election would be to remove the UK from the European Convention on Human Rights

That alone is good reason never to vote for Reform UK.

THIS IS WHY

There is a word to describe Mr Kennedy and a few others to describe his lies in regards to those who have autism. I chose not to use them here, but you may get the gist. Some of the most capable wonderful people I know are on the autistic spectrum, this man is not a patch on them.

Despite all the evidence why does the international community not hold Israel to account for the war crimes they are committing?
Israeli soldiers murdered these medical workers, buried them in a mass grave, libelled them as terrorists and then lied about it. One of the ambulance crews' last words were: "I only chose this path because I wanted to help people." www.bbc.co.uk/news/videos/...

It seems strange that outside the US we all seem to get the impression that Greenland doesn't want this? In fact opinion poles show about 85% of Greenland against US takeover.
Tuberville: "It's as much about for the people of Greenland as anything. If you just listen to them talk, when they interview them, they're all in on it. Now we're gonna have problems with the other group across the water."

Estimates are over 200,000 deaths so far in the illegal Ukraine and Gaza wars. We would do well to remember these crimes against humanity and not brush them under the carpet.

AI isn't just theft and environmental callousness. It's also fascist because its overall aim is to wrest the power of artistic expression from everyday ppl and place it in the hands of oligarchs. It's anti-truth and anti-morality.

I block it wherever I see it.
