Are you a Brit living in Spain with residency?
If you're only proof of that is the old green residency doc or card, then it's time to switch to the TIE, before EES is announced & there's a rush for appointments.
Failure to do so could seriously affect your ability to travel, & much more.
In 2024, asylum seekers and refugees made up around 13% of immigrants to the UK. (Source: HOC Library).

Stop calling all immigrants "Illegal" or lumping them all together.
Start dealing with the people smugglers.
Stop blaming immigrants for what ails the country.
Start showing some compassion.

Farage never "tried to hurt anybody".
He hurt the UK.
He hurt the European Union.
He promoted division & hate.
He destroyed our once tolerant society.
But, never mind. He doesn't remember.

Labour’s 2024 general election manifesto on immigration says “We have a proud tradition of welcoming people fleeing persecution and abuse".

I remember that Labour. I preferred them to this current lot.

Of course, those that really need to understand the difference won't read this & don't care. To them they are all the same, & all to be reviled & intimidated.

I am a migrant. I understand (some of) what it is like to have that fact treated as a negative, even a threat.
But that's nothing compared to the fear that foreigners settled in the UK are feeling right now, even those Labour promise have nothing to fear.
I'm fine with being an immigrant or migrant as well, because it's what I am.
I'm fine with "immigrant". I'm an immigrant (or a migrant) from the EU. A migrant is just a person who's left their birth country to live in a different country. That's what humans have been doing ever since humans have been in existence - we, our species, are migrants.

It's as if they have to come up with something even more cruel & inappropriate each day.
It's sickening.
