They’re counting on you to sit this one out. Don’t give them what they want.

Get loud with your ballot. Drop it off today or hit the polls tomorrow ASAP.

"In a nutshell: Nonviolent resistance is based on noncooperation with autocratic actions. It has proven more effective in toppling autocracies than violent, armed struggle.

But it requires more than street demonstrations." 1/

Let me be clear: It’s ILLEGAL to deny federal workers back pay after a shutdown.

There’s a 2019 law that guarantees it, but Trump is once again trying to break the law.

You don’t get to punish people for doing their jobs just because you’re failing at yours.

This is the playbook, folks.

If you're not paying attention now and doing something about it, then you're going to have to sit down the rest of your life because democracy is being taken away.

Do not be quiet in this moment.

It's not normal for an American president to send troops to American cities in times of peace.

Chicago, document what you see and be loud for America.

I’m serious. This REALLY infuriates me. @nbcnews.com @cbsnews.com @cnn.com
Do your job. You failed to lift this up in 2024. If farmers are hurting, explain why and who is to blame. And remind Americans that we paid BILLIONS for Trump’s first tariff blunder. It’s so irresponsible to ignore this.
Right. Same thing as 2020 [see below].Through 2 debates and a session on Economics in Chicago during the 2024 campaign I never heard a reporter bring up the cost of the 2020 tariffs & the bailout to farmers WE paid for to cover Trump’s tariff folly. I’m sick of it.

It's really shocking that the NYT and WaPo have forgotten that Trump is a criminal who freed hundreds of violent cop assailants on his first day on the job.

Every

Crime

should lead with that.

$25 million judgement for a fraudulent university.

$2 million judgment for stealing from charity.

He thinks Mar-a-Lardo, his shitty golfing motel it worth $2 BILLION.

WHERE IS YOUR SELF AWARENESS?

Hope this helps.

Got my mailer from the hypocritical Rethugs. Funny how it's business as usual for them to gerrymander red states up the wazoo, but not for a blue state to fight back. Go pound sand!

Revisiting NY Times opinion page from about a week BEFORE 2024 election. Not even a year in & trump has made progress on every single item here. There could not have been more explicit warnings, including Project 2025! Still angry at majority of white voters who chose this.

One day. That’s the slap in the face the DOJ is calling “accountability” in Breonna Taylor’s case.

Now they want to act like civil rights charges were too much? Please be for real.

If you’re wondering how little they value Black lives—look no further.
DOJ seeks one-day sentence for officer in raid that killed Breonna Taylor
In November, a federal jury found officer Brett Hankison guilty of violating Taylor’s civil rights during a March 2020 police raid in which she was fatally shot.
