Our politics seems to be entering a phase of "right supremacy" where only the lives of right-wingers have value. Assassinating the leader of a state legislative body in her own damn home was business as usual, but all of America has to have a reckoning if it's a far-right online influencer.

If you watch only one video today, let it be this one.

Watch NYU Stern School of Business Professor Scott Galloway’s outstanding commentary on what prosperity and wealth should mean in America.

His words could not be more on point and timely.

Please pass it on.

I am starting to believe Trump’s Tesla ad was just made because he wasn’t able to tell the difference between “autocrat” and “autocart”.

Not a single international cargo ship at the Port of Seattle. The port is dead. The last ship from China will dock at a West coast port on the 29th, and the last Chinese ship will dock on the East coast around May 10th. After that, there will be no more shipments arriving from China. We’re screwed.

🧵 THREAD: A federal whistleblower just dropped one of the most disturbing cybersecurity disclosures I’ve ever read.

He's saying DOGE came in, data went out, and Russians started attempting logins with new valid DOGE passwords

Media's coverage wasn't detailed enough so I dug into his testimony:

Hello! The US housing market has gotten very expensive, but I still dream of one day owning a home in a walkable neighborhood. In that spirit, I'm offering my consulting services. If you support the Trump tariffs, I can help you find US suppliers. Let me show you some examples. 🧵

So, the DOGE kids intend to rewrite the social-security administration's COBOL code-base!

and they want to do it ...

... in *a few months*

I did a huge dive into COBOL a few years ago (www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/magazi...) ...

... so let me explain why DOGE is *way* over its skis here

@repdangoldman.bsky.social - the answers about the the plight of Khalil and other students targeted by Rubio's abuse of power were deeply unsatisfying. Nobody is required to agree with them on the matter of the protests, but nothing justifies Khalil sitting in prison; this is not "due process".

It seem insane for a US Senator to say we've all been subjected to "a relentless bombardment of Marxist propaganda." But what he means by this is 1) there was a Burger King ad with an interracial couple and 2) Star Wars Episodes VII-IX had a female lead.

From German, abbrev.:
"Who are we" - "Trump followers"
"What do we want" - "To make America great again"
"What do we mean by that" - "More for us, less for minorities"
"Trump tanked the economy" - "Yay, minorities are hit even harder"
