"Democratic capitulators whose seats would be filled by Democratic governors in the event of vacancy (Durbin, Fetterman, Kaine, King) should be under immense pressure to resign mid-session. Now, even. Or in Kaine’s case, after Abigail Spanberger is sworn in. If your senator fits that bill, get loud"

It just breaks my heart that the institution with which I am most proud to have been associated is being so thoroughly destroyed.

@kaine.senate.gov, I’m so disappointed that you caved.
Jesus Christ, @kaine.senate.gov, getting a pinky promise to hold one single vote on ACA funding is not "a path toward fixing the health care mess" anymore than a lottery ticket is a "path toward fixing my personal finances"

ICE, its agents, and this entire corrupt, lawless administration are planning on violating more people’s constitutional rights.
“ICE is quietly building up its ability to spy on Americans' phones

The agency activated a $2 million contract with Paragon, a service that offers the ability to remotely hack into someone's phone.

[Also] ICE entered into an $11 million contract for Cellebrite devices…to break into a locked phone”

I still think the biggest story in the country should be Trump admitting he has no idea who he’s pardoning, but a close second is probably the fact that this guy can’t sit through a meeting without falling asleep.

Spoliation. Obstruction of justice.
This is what authoritarian regimes do to cover their tracks.
DHS confirmed it has stopped automatically storing officials' text messages.

Instead, officials are supposed to take a screenshot, send that to their work email, download it onto their work computer and run a text-recognition program on it. Every time.

You killed over 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children, Trump voters.
Trump voters, you did this.
One analytical model shows that, as of November 5th, the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D. has already caused the deaths of 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/jUzNSc

This is a U.S. citizen being brutally abducted by ICE while his mom pleads for them to stop and the videographer cries for help. The Chicago police do nothing to stop it.

They will come for everyone, and they’re not even hiding that anymore. If you are not organizing and resisting yet, get started.
