The BBC Scotland commentary for Kenny McLean’s halfway line goal is glorious. Stuff of dreams. 🔥

Congratulations #Scotland, see you at the World Cup.

@sickoscommittee.org Not sure if you know, Gibraltar champions Lincoln Red Imps beat the Polish champions Lech Poznan last night in the UEFA Conference League. It’s the first ever points, let alone win, by a Gibraltarian team in a European competition league phase. gbc.gi/news/histori...

@robmanuelyeah.bsky.social I feel that this has opened up a Pandora’s Box of condiment vehicles
Do the condiment udders look better or worse free hanging, or coming from the condiment sow?

Another game where the forwards don’t score. The problems start at the front. No defence is frightened of Wells or Yates. It’s very vanilla. Do they just wait for AAH to get fit and integrated? #coyh

I agree with MB on why they lost today. But it’s almost October and they’ve played well for about 100 minutes this season. Give him until the next international break and then get rid if there’s no improvement. At the moment he can’t get players to play anywhere close to their ability level #COYH

@herring1967.bsky.social Somebody thinks there needs to be more Herrings.
One Herring's Not Enough, the first episode of Van der Valk, was broadcast on this day in 1972. Starring Barry Foster as Commisaris Van der Valk, it initially ran for two series between 1972/73, before being revived by Euston Films in 1977. A further revival occurred in 1991/92.

We should be allowed to take our partner to work for a day so they can put faces to the names of the people we moan about at home. Particularly so they can see for themselves what an absolute prick Stuart is.

Interesting table from @markohaire.bsky.social that highlights the extent of lack of attacking prowess by @lutontown.co.uk so far, which we were all aware of. The signings yesterday are very welcome.
