I used to have a troll who would email me bizarre graphics and rants whenever a shark bit someone anywhere in the world. Various world leaders were cc’ed.
He died a few years ago (cancer, not a shark bite.).
Is it weird that I kind of miss him?

‘A Gilded Chain is Still a Chain’
I made this in tribute to the medieval Unicorn Tapestries. In the final tapestry the unicorn is imprisoned under a pomegranate tree that is dripping. I imagined if she escaped, she would want to destroy the tree and its fruits!

I archival scanned this 1992 CYOA gamebook for The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It has some incredible illustrations in it by Shinpei Ito. All the illustrations he did for books in the Zelda series are gorgeous, honestly. Find the scans here: archive.org/details/zeld...

Even if sharks didn't get cancer, eating shark wouldn't cure your cancer any more than eating LeBron James would make you better at basketball.

When you see a deep red state, especially in the South, what you're usually seeing is a population being electorally held hostage.

People shouldn’t just feel safe where they live; they should feel that they are vibrantly welcome and included in how that place defines itself.
