St Louis weather forecast calls for 0.5” - 4” of snow on Saturday from 3am to noon.

— 66% chance of 1”+
— 47% chance of 2”+
— 31% chance of 4”+
— 17% chance of 6”+

Low confidence in STL snow amounts; temps near freezing could result in more sleet and rain possible.

For any fellow vegetarians out there, the Meati brand mycelium cutlet is a really nice turkey substitute and I recommend trying it out.

I switched from Gmail to Proton about a month ago and have really liked it. There’s a subscription fee, but it includes a top-tier VPN, plenty of extra tools, and email privacy you don’t get with Google.
It’s discount season; time to join the privacy revolution with our incredible Black Friday deals.

Check out our website for a range of offers on both individual products and plan upgrades.

Today, St. Louis City's Board of Alders voted 10 against 5 to sell a city-owned green space downtown.

That might seem incredibly boring, because it is, but the vote was notably controversial because the city charter requires voters to approve the sale of any city-owned parks.

What we're witnessing with #Melissa is ultra rare in the history of known hurricanes in the Atlantic. This level of sustained intensity and feasting on every joule of ocean heat content without any real disruption is incredible.

Not hyperbole: Jamaica is facing a generational catastrophic event.

I changed from Gmail to Proton email. It costs a subscription fee but comes with one of the fastest VPN’s on the market, a more secure email with data not being sold to advertisers, and it feels nice to be a little less dependent on the main tech giants.

The city of St. Louis put an end to its alley recycling program in August leaving some environmentally conscious residents frustrated.

But one St. Louis grocery store is encouraging people to get creative in how they reduce their waste.

Motorist nearly hit a pedestrian at Christy & Holly Hills crosswalk this morning. Pedestrian squirted water from their water bottle on the car in response. Prompting the driver to get out, scream, and advanced on the pedestrian. I had to step in to break it up and diffuse the situation.

When I was a kid, my grandpa and I would sit on the front porch and each pick a car color. We’d watch the road, and the first one to see ten cars of their color drive by won.
Most popular car colours by year. Purple and green cars RIP.

Political loyalty mirrors sports fan loyalty. Many fans don’t care about rules, fairness, or integrity if their “team” wins. Fans excuse almost anything when it leads to victory, whether it’s a trophy on the field or power in office. They just want their “team” to win.

My hot take is @bsky.app shouldn’t waste time on an edit button. People should proofread before posting. If folks can still get the gist, errors aren’t that big of a deal… though some random person will still pop in your mentions to say otherwise. Society’s obsession with perfection is overrated.
