🏡 St Louis
St Louis weather forecast calls for 0.5” - 4” of snow on Saturday from 3am to noon.

— 66% chance of 1”+
— 47% chance of 2”+
— 31% chance of 4”+
— 17% chance of 6”+

Low confidence in STL snow amounts; temps near freezing could result in more sleet and rain possible.

Especially for any vegetarians who are also into bodybuilding. The macros are great, which isn’t typically the case with plant based meat substitutes.

I was also surprised how much it actually tastes like turkey.

For any fellow vegetarians out there, the Meati brand mycelium cutlet is a really nice turkey substitute and I recommend trying it out.

The current NWS forecast calls for 1”-3” to 2”-4” for the St Louis area. But you can see how a shift north or south by the winter storm system in the coming days could really impact final accumulation totals.

Snow should start around 3am in St Louis and end around noon on Saturday.

The snow is likely to transition to rain as temperatures warm throughout the morning but currently there is uncertainty on when the transition will occur.

That park is incredible. I went in August 2019 and couldn’t believe how much natural beauty was tucked right inside the city.

I recommend @usafacts.org

It’s Steve Balmer’s pet project after his retirement funding a not-for-profit, nonpartisan civic initiative making government data easy for all Americans to access and understand.

As a data nerd, I love relevant and useful data visualizations that usafacts.org provides.

The world produces nearly a half-billion tons of plastic each year, more than double the amount from two decades ago, and a growing amount of plastic waste is turning up on coastlines and river banks, as well as in whales, birds and other animals that ingest them.

The American Robin secures a ripe strawberry, delicately offering some to its companion.
But wait! Enter the Brown Thrasher, bold and brash. A brief standoff ensues… tension builds… and just like that, the Thrasher retreats. The Robin reigns. The strawberry is theirs.
