The old man by the sea. I love life, my wife, my dogs, DC football, the Liverpool Reds, walking on the beach, a good read, and good food. I love.

The President doesn't want you standing up and speaking out against him, so he's coming after me to intimidate all of us.

But I won't back down — and neither should you.

I know some of you are fans of pelicans spashing in the water in 5 minutes before Sunset and the water giving off an orange hue. May I present to you: a humpback whale surfacing 5 minutes before sunset 😇

My favorite day of the year ♥️🚴🌵

After I got shot, I never could have imagined getting back on my bike and racing through my beautiful hometown. El Tour de Tucson will always hold a special place in my heart.

32 miles has nothing on us!

AOC has said this about Marjorie Taylor Greene retiring:

"She's carefully timing her departure just 1-2 days after her pension kicks in and after making millions of dollars insider trading stocks for weapons manufacturers and others while in office. "

Well, you live long enough to appear on TV with hardcore MAGA folks who are openly advocating for Saudi Arabia to invest/buy up more of America and making excuses for tyrant MBS, and you, the sole Muslim, is advocating for human rights, journalism, and decency.

We are in the 7th circle of hell.

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.
