80% of Georgians support EU integration.
This is not a divided country.
It is a hijacked one - held hostage by a ruling elite that serves neither the people nor their aspirations.

I am reflecting that Trump is making a better, more colourful, more emotionally connected, louder positive case for the UK rejoining the EU than I have heard in the nearly 9 yrs since the referendum.

It isn’t a question of THINKING about it. It is FEELING the project’s purpose from which it arose

The Roman Empire collapsed because it was led by completely incompetent Emperors who spent their time on ridiculous and self destructive schemes.

Fast forward 1500 years and the USA is doing exactly the same.

Elect a clown, watch the empire burn.

Excellent article. Seems to me that the commercialised US medical industry will encourage any drug or treatment that brings in the bucks. European socialised medicine has no profit motive, doctors are mostly on fixed salaries, so they're more likely to prioritise best interests of patients.
I wrote about the Supreme Court ruling on banning puberty blockers. In this case, when liberals talk about “trusting the science,” what they actually mean is that they trust the American medical establishment: www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

@safety.bsky.app need to take action here. Otherwise any user can exploit this "heckler's veto" vulnerability to suppress any other user's voice. It will render Bluesky unusable.

It insane that @bsky.app is labeling this as "intolerance." A very bad sign for the future of this app's approach to content moderation.

Utterly absurd, and wrong, that this post is marked by @bsky.app as "intolerance". In reality it consists of links to serious legal analysis, from someone whose opinion you might agree or disagree with.

I haven't been able to find any substantial commentary arguing that SG should win. Please link in reply if you know of any, and I'll add it.

What is this nonsense? There's nothing remotely "intolerant" about a barrister commending a legal submission in an important case.

Disappointing to see such censorious & judgemental behaviour from Bluesky admins.
