We really have a mad king sputtering at what he sees on TV and his bootlicking lawyers running around desperately trying to curry favor by prosecuting whoever is the subject of today's two minutes of hate. No idea how DOJ rebuilds itself after this nightmare is over.

As one of many submitting an AI focused law review article, I’m biased…But editors’ reluctance to accept too many articles on one topic shouldn’t apply to AI, which is going to fundamentally challenge innumerable areas of law, meaning now is the time we should be studying this.

The Washington Post—for which I wrote editorials for nearly a decade—has closed its Kyiv bureau.

@lawfaremedia.org has not—and we will not.

We now employ more people in Kyiv than the Washington Post.

Let me tell you about what we have done in Ukraine over the past year and why we are not leaving

I don't write about politics, but as a Minnesotan, I endorse this message from @chkbal.bsky.social 100%. Conditions here are grim, folks. Whatever your views on immigration policy, what ICE & CPB are doing to this community is unAmerican. They need to stop.

As someone who (proudly) signed on to the letter, this is extremely misleading. (1) The letter is this Google doc—it was not written for the LPE Project, nor was having LPE Project (or any other publication) publish it discussed as part of the organizing. docs.google.com/document/d/1...

@anthropic.com just published a 20,000-word "Constitution" for Claude. But it's less a governance doc than a character bible: a comprehensive moral philosophy for raising an AI to be a good person. My latest for @lawfaremedia.org. www.lawfaremedia.org/article/the-...

One of the (many) frustrations about the TikTok "deal" is that, because its details likely won't be made public, we won't know if it actually satisfies the law. And because of who Trump is, we can't trust his certification to Congress that the divestment is valid. www.semafor.com/article/01/2...
