This moment in Bluesky is a great example of how joy itself can be defiance and resistance.

Gaetz withdrawal is encouraging, not just because we won't have AG Gaetz but because it's taken Trump about two weeks to squander his supposedly invincible mandate and remind everyone of his staggering incompetence and dysfunction—which, per last time, are the main checks on his power.

Bluesky is officially “open” now (no more invites). So just a reminder to not engage with trolls and bad actors, there is no algorithm here to promote or spread them, replying to them is what puts them on everybody’s timelines. So block and give no oxygen.
