Aww Shaneel Lal just came over to introduce themselves at a cafe. Love it when I meet old Twitter buddies in real life. Hate not having an edit function to fix autocorrect.

We talked to Sam Neill at his vineyard. I gave him a pack of tissues and we discovered he had lived in our apartment as a drama student.
Not me, but mum said for years she’d met & chatted for some time with Sir Edmund Hillary & I always thought it was a flight of fancy until I was flipping through some never seen before photo & there she is with him 😳
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

On top of humanities and social sciences being cut from eligibility for the Marsden Fund, changes to 're-balance' the histories curriculum, attacks on the Waitangi Tribunal, etc, it seems clear the government would prefer we remain in ignorance about our history.

I just watched a reel where a comedian referred to using a vibrator during sex as ‘calling in a drone strike’. I’m gonna be laughing all day.

Sadly, this never goes out of fashion. Just wish I had a Tshirt of this image from the 1980’s. I managed to get it into evidence in the Employment Court during the Bartlett and E Tu v Terranova case by submitting a research paper which featured the image on its cover.

Rarotonga for a yoga retreat has been such a brilliant de-stressor. I’m so grateful to be able to come here. Namaste.

I swam with the turtles and the fish, I am in a state of bliss. Always my favourite part of our yoga retreats in Rarotonga.

Today would have been our mum Anne’s 80th birthday. She was smart, funny, feisty and courageous. She was a feminist and championed human rights way before it was trendy. She made us believe we could do amazing things even though there was no money. I miss her every day.
