The U.S. is the only major country on Earth that does not guarantee workers a paid vacation.

When a husband, wife & kids are unable to spend any time together on vacation, that is not a family value. It's an attack on everything a family is supposed to stand for.

Unacceptable.

The Austin City Council voted 10-1 to allow up to 5-story, single-stair buildings. Austin joins a growing list of North American cities & states bringing back the once popular building type and allowing more flexibility in the types of housing produced in the City.

WATCH: The gloves are off! It’s been an under-reported scandal for quite a while that Pierre Poilievre refuses to apply for security clearance. It was a scandal EVEN BEFORE the most recent efforts to undermine Canada’s democracy, sovereignty and economy from Trump, Musk and the GOP.

“Canada has been ripping us off for years.”

Can the U.S people understand how, no matter what ends up happening with Trump’s tariffs & trade war, we will never get over that kind of outrageously destructive lie?

Trump may think it’s “negotiation,” but rational people get that it’s permanent harm.

Some pretty nice designs in here. Kudos to the consultant team that led the work. The federal government has unveiled its new Housing Design Catalogue with 50 housing designs for rowhouses, fourplexes, sixplexes, and accessory dwelling units www.housingcatalogue.cmhc-schl.gc.ca

This is NOT what I had in mind when I voted for the man who pretended to work at McDonald's for a day and then drove around in a dump truck. I thought he would continue doing those things, thereby providing valuable services in my community

What's incredible about this Kimmel skit is that we all laugh at how ludicrous this safety cone idea is, yet this is the actual approach our authorities and city leaders take with road safety for those outside of the car.

Great article from Erna Buffie. I would describe myself as 'apoplectic'after listening to that meeting as well!

Here's hoping @scottgillingham.bsky.social can do a better job chairing the EPC meeting.
