The writing is on the wall. The US is abandoning Europe. Europe will have to fend off Ru on its own.
As part of the “America First” program, Pentagon has classified certain weapons types, including Patriot, as “in short supply” and is beginning to block requests for these systems from European partners.

This is the most corrupt and disgusting thing I think I’ve ever seen from a president. A blatantly impeachable offense. Republicans in Congress will say and do nothing.

So Trump gets DOJ to drop an obvious bribery case against Tom Homan, then fires the US Attorney who found insufficient evidence to prosecute Letitia James, then threatens to fire Pam Bondi and replace her with dunce Lindsey Halligan unless she immediately indicts his enemies.

There is no world in which it is normal for the president to publicly call upon his attorney general to hurry up and prosecute his political foes. It’s like the Watergate tapes but posted on social media. Let’s get a grip on what’s happening here.

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Our problem isn't a lack of resources.

Our problem is ever-expanding inequality.

The FBI and Justice officials closed the investigation, which a Justice Department appointee had called a “deep state” probe in early 2025.

The hyper normalization of extrajudicial murder is accelerating within the infrastructure of the military that is quite quite bad news for when the full weight of the military is turned inward over the coming weeks and months.
This appears to be the 3rd lethal US strike in the Caribbean.

Once again, the specific "terrorist" entity targeted is not identified.

No legal justification is offered for this premeditated killing.

President Trump is asserting a license to kill outside of the law. 1/n

Disney/ABC have a responsibility to refuse to participate in corruption.

Kimmel must be reinstated. If Disney/ABC agree to this extortion then perhaps creatives + workers should consider collective action to push back. Same w/buying park + cruise tickets if they bow.

So, um, we don’t need the legislation. The Constitution is pretty clear about this. The remedies are clear. And short of those, how about standing firm on no budget ok until Trump/GOP agree to…adhere to the Constitution. Or, perhaps, just approve extension a month at a time…if he complies.
Trump coerced ABC into silencing Jimmy Kimmel — a brazen violation of the First Amendment.

We’re introducing legislation to hold Trump accountable, help Americans protect themselves from this abuse of power, and stand with those who refuse to bow to political blackmail.
