Here was another of those mock Star Wars Visual Dictionary-style renders I did last year, with my TIE Shuttle model. I didn't have as much to fill the page composition with on this one, and the model is a lot less detailed. I would probably need to add an inset or only dedicate half of a page to it.

If I was young, I would love to work on this. But its hard.
Dec1st is freezing cold, there's no heat. Flowers don't last long so it has to be finished overnight. Filling little plastic vials w water. Adding a flower. Sticking it into Styrofoam. You're very wet and very cold for hours!

When Matt Jeffries was called upon to update the Enterprise design for Phase II, he hit on the idea of angling the supports for the nacelles: I love the that from his sketches you could see he was apparently inspired by the human arm in the act of throwing a spear or projectile.

I've always liked the lead actress in TNG's episode "Justice". She was from a fun little japanese movie. She couldn't speak japanese, and nobody making this movie cared! It was that kinda movie.
