I of course can't know if this is true, but I suspect people now often assume AI use in everything, and this biases them to assume people are less skilled than perhaps they really are. We've unleashed a massive intervention on the world without any understanding of the impact.
Relying on LLMs to get your diploma and is similar to forging PhD research for boosting your political career in Germany
You think it creates shortcuts and notability for getting the top job. But as you are only interested in the CV line, you don't learn anything.
And one day, you are exposed.

I don't know who this guy is, but I certainly hope he is okay. That was hard to watch.
I also want to agree with those who noted how bizarre it is that Robert F. Kennedy Jr., seeing a tragedy unfold before him, hauled ass out of the room like George Costanza during a fire.
What a nauseating man.

Instead of welcoming foreign students and their foreign currency Labour have driven them away at huge cost to the economy. We could be welcoming exiles from Trump's anti science regime Britain. Instead we are driving Universities bankrupt to please Farage.
The United States was the leading destination for top scientists from all over the world.
That is ending. Politicians ended it. It will cripple our future competitiveness.
And it’s such a bitter tragedy. Almost no Americans, Conservative or Liberal, grasp what is now being stolen from them.
