there's a lot of reasons not to act like "CalArts Style" is a real thing that exists but a big one is that it was coined by a known pedophile who was mad that The Iron Giant didn't look like a looney tune
There is no phrase that I want to see die a brutal death more than "CalArts Style". It's 2025 people, stop using that damn phrase. Besides, I like that the character designs we're getting pull influence from international animation like anime and Aardman. It's cool.
