Character *is* choice. Backstory and quirks are only window dressing if they don't inform the choices the characters make that propel the story. The more interesting the choices, the more interesting the character. And often times, audiences want characters making different choices than they would.

I was just watching the movie, Glass Online last night, and it struck me that the character of Andi had been normalising what Miles had been so saying so often that the Disruptors just started doing it to themselves.

Also, the auto text that comes with the gifs is pretty weak. Take a quick sec to update it.
