Today the FCC accepted for filing the application for Nexstar (Fox31) to acquire TEGNA (9NEWS) and has set a pleading cycle (public comment) to run through late January with a ruling to follow. The FCC says Nexstar is requesting two ownership rule waivers.

FYI, one of the most common observations from UBI pilots is that people pay down their debts and increase their savings. You can even see a recent example in this chart, where people did that with their stimulus checks.

If you're a writer/other creator in the United States, consider creating an LLC for your business and then signing up for a local area Chamber of Commerce. Many of them have health insurance plans that pool their members and members of other CoCs to create insurance efficiencies relative to ACA.

My feeling about all these GenAI systems would likely be far softer if the companies pushing them on us made it easy for me to say "no" and turn it all off or outright remove it.
But every single one of them is trying to force me to use shit that I do not want to use and never will want to use.
