Australian elections won't be the same without @antonygreenelec.bsky.social telling us who has won. If you're interested what goes on election night and the software that drives the predictions, check out this video from linux.conf.au. youtu.be/h_0bRylRZg0

Proud to be one of 500+ Jewish Australians signed on to this open letter published in today’s Sydney Morning Herald and Melbourne Age, saying #OzJewsSayNO #No2ethniccleansing #NO2TrumpsGazaPlan

It feels like there is the inkling of a shift in our community

Incredible to see, congrats & thanks to all who made this happen - also bloody brave of them in the current environment!!

Sad and enraging it has to be done because MSM can no longer report or acknowledge basic realities themselves. #Auspol
In The Age today.

If you can't get the editorial parts of the paper to acknowledge this reality, at least you can buy an ad.

Hey @robertarnol.bsky.social this is priceless
This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.

Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

these guys truly are insane .BTW Mike Johnson always triggers my gaydar 🤷‍♀️
This is some of the craziest shit an American politician has ever said.
Johnson: "Elon's cracked the code. He's now inside these agencies. He's created these algorithms that are constantly crawling through the data & as he told me in his office, data doesn't lie. We're gonna be able to get the information. We're gonna be able to transform the way federal govt works."

Hatcher & his China hawks out in force today.

🙄🙄🙄

Why are there Chinese Naval vessels off our shores, could it be because we have been patrolling off theirs for the last half a decade.

And Hatcher is upset because China has found its own minerals & might not need ours.

The 36,000 PS jobs that are going, are also supposed to pay for the bosses’ long lunches & his nuclear power brain fart. JAYSUS! He’s stretching those “savings” just a couple of bridges too far, Eric.
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton says he will slash $24 billion from public service spending to pay for his $9 billion injection into Medicare.

Doubling down on plans to cull tens of thousands of public servants so he can match Labor’s health spending while still promising smaller Govt.

Dutton says $24 billion from public service jobs will pay for bulk-billing boost
The Coalition has been coy about the precise number of jobs it will cut if elected, but Dutton on Monday confirmed that winding back 36,000 workers would be key.
