As a Canadian, I heard about how America's 'checks and balances' protect them from tyranny since I was a child.

We learned from US TV that Americans would fight tooth and nail to preserve their democracy and their constitution.

So it's weird to watch them just roll over to a pair of con-men.

Great piece in the Globe and Mail! These guys get it - there is no pathway to middle-class housing affordability with $100K+ development charges. The math simply does not work. www.theglobeandmail....
Globe editorial: The true cost of soaring development charges on new homes
Ontario cities need to wean themselves from the habit of hiking fees on new builds in order to subsidize low property tax rates for current residents

Information/data not shared is wasted.
People who hoard information or make themselves the only one who can do “XYZ” become too important in their role, and never move up. Share what you do widely so that others can fill your role when you move on to something better.

Anyone who interacted with John Horgan probably has a couple of stories they’re thinking of today.

Here are two of mine.

Two stories about John Horgan
John Horgan loved his family, his province, a good dad joke, and trying his level best every day.
