With the department of education news, I would like to remind people that literacy tests were in force not long ago, especially in the south. My grandfather was voting age when they were in the force. The same South which is going to suffer the most.

Having an opt out is so bizarre for a right that naturally arises from creation. Like there is not a copyright database to store such info, will the tech companies have to reach out to creators to ensure they opt out or just assume they opt in until they are served.
