My new workplace is starting to sound like a cult. So many people have worked here for 20-30+ years that I routinely hear people say things like, "I've *only* worked here 4 years..."

Wow, I'm a dumbass. I've been listening to the Garth Brooks song "Much Too Young (to Feel This Damn Old)" for decades. I thought it was about a long-haul truck driver who's burned out & can't keep up w/ the younger drivers. I only just figured out it's about a guy who follows the rodeo circuit. 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻

It cracks me up that every article I read about this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade cautions readers that they won't see live animals in the parade, like it's a new policy. The parade hasn't featured live animals since the 1920s.
