There was amazing restraint and heroism by the U.S. Capitol Police and the Metropolitan Police Department on Jan. 6, 2021. They were viciously attacked by rightwing extremists and rioters incited by Trump.
Also, by their own standards, the cops protecting the Capitol on Jan 6 should have opened fire all over.

Holy sh—! I think there were 6-8 vehicles, multiple agents in each to chase down 1 female working as a door dash driver. After she ran into the home that had called for food many of these agents were pointing guns at the home with an infant baby inside. Thank goodness the homeowner called 911!

The half dozen people who came to her yard to bear witness and video were women. The person who gave the Door Dash driver safe harbor and who ran ICE away was a woman. All the defenders, all the helpers were women. ICE? All men. This is an insane divide. Thank God for women, they will save us

Yes, how could they charge the owners with harbouring a fugitive if there is no warrant for the person that's in their house? Being a Door Dash employee and Hispanic is not a crime... And 🧊 didn't know who she was. Maybe I'm missing something?

I've noticed that ICE agents keep yelling "18 USC § 111" at people filming them. I'd like to see the memo they all got on that talking point, and I'd like to know who sent it. Filming ICE or alerting your neighbors to their presence doesn't violate § 111.
