Why do many folk accept that "physical" health conditions can't be "cured", but we can't accept that for "mental" health issues?
Medical science is a long, long way from being able to effectively treat all kinds of health conditions, this isn't negativity, it's reality.

The downside of being a high masking, low support needs autistic is that you aren’t entitled to any support services or accomodations and everybody in your life thinks you’re capable of doing life without it. Truly exhausting.
