There is something kind of sad when a kid or pet (it was vet day today for Percy-the-Cat) is anxious or having Feels because of a thing that you had to do, but you are also their source of comfort and reassurance.

how many thousand-year waits are we up to right now, and why do so many feel so light? and so many done in isolation too, but only one (maybe 2) characters are allowed to feel it
and not even the one that had character development bc of it last time either!

amazing how none of my cats would survive outside of the house, a fly was buzzing around and these idiots barely even looked up. what are hunting instincts.

I'm not saying these problems couldn't be overcome, but they're just *really* obvious and so worth tasking when these Tech Giants make these nutty pie-in-the-sky pronouncements, to ask them (or their PR flak), like, 'hey, how do they think they'll deal with heat problems?"

An interesting range of interpretations here but what jumps out at me most is that sharp economic downturns seem to be associated, with some lag, with the far-right cannibalizing the center-right and thereby threatening democratic systems.
Some implications, perhaps, for democratic system design.
