Artists create universes from nothing.

Being an animator is an intimate understanding of life, environments, physics, what it MEANS to be alive, and the ability to convey the beauty within our world in seconds.

once you offload a type of cognitive/creative work to the junk food high you get from AI, the process is reduced to a mere means to an end, instead of something you evaluate or create yourself, with intent, skill, and vision
“The AI in the study probably prompted doctors to become over-reliant on its recommendations, ‘leading to clinicians becoming less motivated, less focused, and less responsible when making cognitive decisions without AI assistance,’ the scientists said in the paper.”
AI Eroded Doctors’ Ability to Spot Cancer Within Months in Study
Artificial intelligence, touted for its potential to transform medicine, led to some doctors losing skills after just a few months in a new study.

I really truly believe we are standing on the precipice of a new Dark Age

Predictive Text "AI" is pouring out an unimaginable tide of sloth and ignorance over journalism, education, and research, and the arts

I really believe it is ontologically evil and needs to die before it chokes us all
Medical textbook is pulled from shelves after an extract found stating the line – "It is important to note that as an AI language model, I can provide a general perspective, but you should consult with medical professionals for personalized advice."

Did you know you can put a File Explorer window in full screen by pressing the F11 key?
Guess someone at Microsoft didn't, because since Windows 11, the navigation bar isn't shown in full screen mode. 🫠

Today I learned about this lovely manga that's like Jurassic Park except it's just a normal zoo that's making efforts to drum up interest in the dinosaurs again, and it also has a Triceratops that's loafing like a big ol' kitty cat and I'm full of so much joy over it.
I love how the zookeepers in Dino Sanctuary talk fondly about dinosaurs like they're actual animals and also that every chapter ends with a short essay from the paleontologist the author consults with for supervision.
