PSA: If you're using an AMD Graphics Card and use an old display (early 2010s) that supports the 3D display feature, don't try enabling 3D Display Mode in Windows Settings. 😓

It's been 13 years since Windows 8 (not to be confused with Windows 8.1) released to the public. Arguably the last time Windows peaked in terms of optimizations compared to *cough* newer versions of Windows *cough*

Crazy how Microsoft once proudly displayed a section showing off what people have said about Windows 7 from social medias on the front page of the Windows website.

Imagine if they still did it this today...

Today, Windows 10... LTSB 2015 reaches end of support.

It was the oldest Windows 10 version supported, based on version 1507 (aka Windows 10 RTM).

It had plenty of leftovers such as the DirectUI start menu from the early Windows 10 Betas and the Start screen from Windows 8.1.

Despite Microsoft's plans on removing the BypassNRO file since March 2025.

"oobe\bypassnro" still lives on in the official Windows 11 Version 25H2 (aka Windows 11 2025 Update) ISO release from Microsoft.

Just remember to disconnect from the internet first before running it. 😉

It's possible to entirely disable Liquid Glass in macOS 26 Tahoe, there's some visual issues such as the Control Center and the text hover in the dock, but it's mostly usable with the Liquid Glass disabled surprisingly!

If you want to try this yourself... 🧵
