I make an extra pumpkin pie every Thanksgiving and stick it in the fridge first thing. Then, I gorge on it all Friday morning. The cold solidifies it and the consistency is so much better. My family is not allowed to touch this fridge one and I don't eat the hot one on Thursday.
So my pie take is there are no bad pies, but some pies have to be eaten a certain way:

1. Pecan: Always good

2. Fruit: Must be homemade. Otherwise bad.

3. Pumpkin: Best eaten cold at 7 am standing over a sink before everyone wakes up
Apple pie is bad. This is not really debatable. So is key lime pie, while we’re on the topic. Pecan pie is the 🐐 tho.

BEFORE jokic's first mvp, I was on a call w/ one of my very best friends, a professor in Boulder and huge hoop head. we concluded that he might be the greatest offensive force in nba history; never felt more prescient.

When I say that locking mothers in the suburbs with small children breaks them? This is what I mean.

It’s why we need universal daycare, paid parental leave for a full year, with gradual return to work schedules.

Babies do best in groups of peers (siblings are not peers). And adults NEED peers!
I'm literally just living a normal life while also experiencing a theophany via communication with the satellite called VALIS.

In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

Industry rule number four thousand and eighty / sports media (in bed with betting) is shady.
I've never seen a box score organized like this at any level of basketball.

ESPN is breaking new ground here.

The federal government is putting its full weight behind purging Black people from public life and the press and opposition party is silent as it does so.
“The Committee’s unfounded accusations, dependence on clearly compromised sources, and selective presentation of ‘evidence’ represent an unprecedented abuse of congressional power—designed not to find the truth, but to silence leadership that refuses to yield to political pressure.”
