Trump's acting CFPB director (Scott Bessent) stopped the agency's work, which includes:

-Capping credit card rates and excessive fees
-Penalizing banks for ripping off consumers
-Preventing politically-motivated debanking

The claims that Canada can get $200-billion in growth from internal free trade are all based in one analysis that has no actual evidence to back it up.

From the paper: “explicit tariffs do not exist” which means they are invented based on theory.
