My friend’s mom would wrap gifts for herself and put them under the tree and on Christmas morning open them and gasp and say this is just what I wanted. As an adult now, I might start doing this.

I don’t know why they don’t just have certain shows each day labeled for sing alongs. So the people who want to sing all go to the 345 pm and 9 pm show or whatever.
Apparently people are doing sing-alongs to songs at screenings of Wicked. I find that so annoying when it happens. I remember one time I went to a movie revival and everyone was singing-along to Singing In The Rain. It ruined A Clockwork Orange for me.

It’s barely winter and I’m buying tickets to music festivals and imagining being warm again. It’s going to be such a long winter (my therapist would say I am also willfully ignoring reality but she didn’t say I shouldn’t go to Coachella or Afronation in Portugal.)
