Disappointing how many big accounts like to post things without alt text—when they are getting so many eyes on their posts, you would think it'd be the least they could do to make it accessible...
Especially when a lot of it is just posting something others already have (maybe even with alt!)

Cis folks: Shouldn't have to say this, but do not, under any circumstances, refer to a trans person's deadname as their "real name." Whether it has been legally changed or not. For fuck sake.

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

(It's hard for me to grasp, as a speaker of a language with a lot of speech pauses in between words, but nonetheless it's so fun and interesting to observe!)

Still need to wait a bit, so let me share an anecdote of my childhood.
We have loooong spoons made out of dark blue plastic at home.
When I was a child I watched the Sesame Street and there is this loooong, dark blue character. Grover.
So I decided to call those spoons "Grover Spoon" lol

I put new stickers onto my phone case (the old ones sadly lost their color over time)
