Indeed republican liberalism is what the founders more or less practiced with their emphasis on public virtue and skepticism of power. It’s what makes all Americans liberal in the anti-monarchy sense of the word.
A quick reminder:
“Democracy” doesn’t mean Democrat.

They’re forms of government, not parties.
And too many people in power are counting on you not knowing the difference.
