This is my favorite picture of Stonewall.

They knew they were getting arrested just for being LGBTQ+.

Yet... they're still here, standing outside of the boarded up Stonewall Inn, smiling as the world was at a fever pitch of hatred against them.

I think about it a lot in moments like this.

Remember, no matter what some government run by a fascist says - you are who you say you are. You define yourself. No one else. The state & powerful try to dictate our bodies to control & exploit us - our labor, our energy, our lives - for themselves. But you get to choose yourself. Fuck ‘em.

Es gibt etwas neues von mir zu lesen :) Diesmal denke ich darüber nach, ob und unter welchen Bedingungen man mit Naz*s reden sollte und ob es wirklich so toll ist, wenn man dabei ruhig bleiben kann.
