Starmer is a fucking hypocrite… Furious about a homophobic attack on a relative and their spouse…

But completely happy with his own governments #TRANSAPARTHEID policies which will result in attacks on trans people.

Words fail me.

Thank you for reposting my reply to Sophie. Families caught up in the Wellbn situation are terrified and desperate to be heard. Your support amplifies our voices when so many stay silent, and it genuinely helps us feel less alone.

If you're interested in how this came about, earlier this year with @rtie.org I had a go at collating resources detailing the operation and effects of far right 'Christian' groups on UK politics and discourse, focusing on trans people this last decade or so:

Far Right Christian Interference in UK Society
The following article was derived from a BlueSky post by Fergus Murray (linktree), which aggregated discussion forum links from the RTiE activist group. Any errors are my own. The Christian right, …

Yeah. I remember Bindel getting a (metaphorical) kicking for a transphobic article in the Observer and it was taken down. Wouldn't happen now.

Hayley was the trans character. She was immensely popular. When the character Liz tried to make her use the Men's, she was portrayed as a thick bigot and the other women stood up for her.

This anti-trans bullshit is new and completely manufactured.

1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.

It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.

It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

Transgender care saves lives.
Study In The Journal Of Pediatrics Finds Trans Youth Care Lowers Suicidality, Few Detransition

The thing about the Linehan case is that either the Judge is sympathetic to 'gender critical' ideology or British law thinks it's perfectly acceptable for a 57 year old man to stalk, doxx and physically attack a 17 year old girl.

Both explanations are horrifying.
